17 Orange- Christina Borowiak

Christina fell in love with the game of volleyball when she was about 10 years old. Throughout her career she played for many club teams, including Momentum, and has also played for Nerinx Hall High School and Lindenwood University. As her playing career came to an end, Christina found a new love for the game in coaching. She began her coaching career at Collinsville Christian Academy as Head Coach of the Varsity team in 2013. She then coached for the North County Aces during the 2014-2015 season, Team Elite St. Louis (TESL) from 2015-2018, and is exited to now be coaching at Momentum for the upcoming 2018-2019 season. Christina has coached most every junior volleyball age, coaching all ages between 11 and 18.

Aside from her love for the game of volleyball, Christina is also passionate about medicine. Christina is currently a nursing school student, and aspires to one day be a Nurse Anesthetist. She has previously worked in both the medical and mental health fields, spending the last three years as a Crisis Counselor/Crisis Response Team Supervisor for Places for People and BJC Behavioral Health.

Christina is ecstatic to be coaching for Team Momentum, and cannot wait to experience the joy this next season will bring!
